Azerbaijan increases wheat imports by 40.3%

From January to July this year, Azerbaijan imported 646,335 tons of wheat.
According to Report, citing the State Customs Committee, the value of these imports amounted to $140.138 million.
This represents an increase of 185,690 tons (40.3%) in volume and $37.518 million (36.5%) in value compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, spending on wheat imports accounted for 1% of Azerbaijan’s total import expenditures.
