Azerbaijan increases number of cheese suppliers

In January-October 2021, Azerbaijan imported 18,273.92 tons of cheese (including melted) worth $5.11 million, respectively, 13.53% and 9.8% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased cheese from 28 countries. Last year, for the first time, Azerbaijan started buying cheese from Bangladesh.
In 2021, for the first time, Azerbaijan imported 6.03 tons of cheese from Bangladesh for $35,820.
