Azerbaijan increases export of milk, cream to Georgia by 37 times

In January-February this year, Azerbaijan imported 1,890 tons of milk and cream worth $4.26 million.

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 47.3% more than the same period in 2022 in value terms, and 8% less in quantitative terms.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 549.1 tons (+5.6 times) of milk and cream worth $745,800 (+71%).

Azerbaijan supplied these products only to Georgia. Compared to a year ago, the sale of milk and cream to this country increased by 9 times and 37 times, respectively.

Georgia accounted for 73% of the 1,590 tons of milk and cream exported from Azerbaijan (to 4 countries) in 2022.
