65% of beekeeping products sold at honey fair in Baku

At the 23rd Republican Exhibition-Fair of Beekeeping Products held in Baku, more than 62 tons of beekeeping products were sold, or 65% of all products (95 tons) presented at the festival, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Some 1.5 tons of these products were produced in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions.

This year, 250 beekeepers from all economic regions took part in the fair. Each participant could sell a maximum of 400 kg of honey and 30 frames. In total, 57.6 tons of flower and 20.5 tons of linden honey were presented at the fair (80% of all products put up for sale).

The fair was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association.
