Turkey posts sharp increase in number of tourists from Azerbaijan

The number of Azerbaijanis who traveled to Turkey in the first seven months has reached 186,250 people, a growth of 35.56% over a year earlier when Turkey saw 137,397 Azerbaijani visitors.
Report informs, citing the country's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, that Azerbaijan accounted for 1.86% of all travelers visiting Turkey.
In July, Turkey hosted 62,737 Azerbaijani travelers, a six-fold increase from the same period of last year.
Russia, Germany, and Ukraine are responsible for the biggest number of tourists visiting Turkey, with 1,550,000, 1,260,000, and 1,120,000 people, respectively.
