Tourist flow to Azerbaijan from Central Asian countries up in June

In June, 19,664 tourists from Central Asian countries visited Azerbaijan, marking a 17% increase compared to the same month last year, according to the State Tourism Agency, Report informs.
Last month, the number of tourists from Kazakhstan rose by 11% to 9,946, Uzbekistan by 17% to 5,093, Turkmenistan by 12% to 2,770, Kyrgyzstan by 45% to 998, and 867 visitors from Tajikistan marking a more than twofold increase.
Overall, Azerbaijan received 237,509 tourists in June, which is an 11% decrease compared to the same period last year. The largest number of visitors came from Russia (73,415, down 11%), Türkiye (40,326, up 5%), and Iran (15,297, down 11%).
