Tourist flow from Azerbaijan up by 1%

The total number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad in January-April 2025 increased by 0.9% compared to the same period last year to 632,700 people, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling to Iran increased by 25.9%, the number of those traveling to Georgia increased by 20.4%, the number of those traveling to Türkiye decreased by 6.3%, and the number of those traveling to the Russian Federation decreased by 26.4%.
During the reporting period, 36.1% of Azerbaijani citizens traveled to Türkiye, 16.1% to Russia, 11.1% to Georgia, 11% to Iran, and 25.7% to other countries. Some 66.9% of those traveling were men and 33.1% were women.
