Georgia sees August tourism revenues soar

In August this year, Georgia’s tourism revenues amounted to $198.8 million, according to the analytical report of the National Bank of the country, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.
According to the document, this is 13.4 times more than in the same period last year.
Last month, 267,400 foreigners visited Georgia, 247,200 of them for tourism purposes. The number of foreign guests increased 5.3 times compared to the same period last year, and tourists - 7.1 times.
In January-August, Georgia’s tourism revenues amounted to $703.9 million.
