Country with cheapest car hire unveiled

Baku. 9 August. REPORT.AZ/ OneTwoTrip service has made a rating of countries where travelers often book cars this summer, and also revealed  how much it costs, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.

Spain, Italy and Greece ranked in the top three according to the results of June-August, 2018— about 48% of the total number of reservations falls to the lot of these countries.

According to the head of the car rental destinations and additional services OneTwoTrip, Yevgeny Gaponenko, the rating of popular countries for car hire in the summer months is expected to be headed by the countries with sea resorts and a large number of interesting places.

According to him, on average, car rental costs $ 34 per day, which means people even with a limited budget can afford traveling by car. In Thailand, Cyprus and Turkey, car rental costs just $ 19-28 per day, which is comparable to the cost of lunch in a restaurant.

The most expensive rent costs travelers in the UK - $ 54 per day, while the cheapest in Thailand and Cyprus — $ 19 and $ 20, respectively.
