Azerbaijan among top five countries for Russia's inbound tourism

Azerbaijan ranks 4th with 684,000 tourist trips to Russia between January-September 2019, up 3% or 19,000 trips from the previous year, Report informs, referring to Russia’s TurStat agency.

In the reporting period, a total of 19,064,000 foreign citizens visited Russia, compared to 19,245,000 last year.

Ukraine leads the list with 5,944,000 trips (down 6.7% or 429,000 trips from the previous year). The top five countries include Kazakhstan (more than 2,000,000 trips), China (1,594,000,000 trips) and Finland (681,000 trips).
