37,000 new jobs to be created in tourism sector of Baku by 2040

There are plans to create 37,045 additional jobs in the tourism sector of Baku by 2040, which will increase the share of the tourism sector in total employment to 4.9%, Report informs referring to the General Development Plan of Baku until 2040.

In 2040, the tourism sector’s share of gross domestic product (GDP) will be 10%, up from 6.5% in 2019.
