Josh Giddey achieves record set by Michael Jordan

Josh Giddey has inserted himself in the same conversation as the greatest of all time, Michael Jordan, after yet another starring double-double performance for the Chicago Bulls, Report informs via Fox Sports.

The Bulls fell narrowly to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday afternoon (AEDT), but Giddey again turned heads with his offensive assertiveness, aggressiveness on the boards, and overall facilitative ability.

The 6-foot-8 Australian guard scored 21 points on 8-14 shooting, dished 12 assists and grabbed eight rebounds. He was also a deadeye from distance, going a perfect 4-4 from beyond the three-point line.

Giddey was already just the fifth Bull all-time to record three-straight 20-plus-point double-doubles — joining Jordan, Clem Haskins, Jerry Sloan and Guy Rodgers — and he made it four-straight on Thursday.

It comes after Giddey managed busy totals of 25-16-6 and 24-8-10 in his previous two games.

The 22-year-old becomes the only player in NBA history to record 75+ points, 40+ rebounds, 20+ assists, 10+ made threes and 10+ stocks (steals and blocks) in a three-game span, per Opta Stats.
