FIBA Secretary General satisfied with basketball development in Azerbaijan

The Secretary General of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Andreas Zagklis, has expressed satisfaction with the development of basketball in Azerbaijan, Vugar Azimov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF), told Report.

Azimov talked about the FIBA official's visit to Baku: "Andreas Zagklis came to Baku on a working trip. He wanted to get closely acquainted with Azerbaijani basketball. He had traveled to our capital from Kazakhstan. During his stay here, he held several meetings, and current issues were discussed. Talks were held about Azerbaijan clubs playing in the Champions League, FIBA Europe Cup, and 3x3 basketball. The meetings were productive. The current state of the country's basketball was discussed. In short, general issues were discussed."
