Domestic violence occurs all over the world. But in society, it should not be perceived as normal, EU Twinning Resident Adviser Laurynas Totoraitis said at training on "Domestic Violence in the Media," Report informs.
According to him, the main problem is the public accusation of victims.
"Such prejudice in society must be eliminated. The issue of naming the victims should also be eliminated. My advice is to be careful when talking about the fate of people. It is essential to pay attention to these issues when preventing future events," he stressed.
