Baku hosts event on empowering women and strengthening society

An event titled "Strong Woman, Strong Society" was held in Baku as part of the campaign celebrating International Women's Day, according to Report.

Organized by the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan, the event aimed to raise awareness about global progress towards gender equality and parity.

Speaking at the event, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, emphasized that advancing gender equality contributes to the creation of a stronger society.

During the event, beneficiaries of several EU projects shared their experiences, offering valuable advice on achieving success and overcoming challenges.

The event also featured the opening of an art exhibition titled "Colors of Europe", showcasing works by 25 female artists from Baku and districts. Additionally, the "Outstanding Women of Poland" exhibition, presented by the Polish Embassy in Baku, was unveiled.
