Bahar Muradova: Children in Azerbaijan still face threat posed by unexploded mines

The Azerbaijani people, including children, have lived in conditions of conflict and war for a long time and today they are still facing the threat posed by unexploded mines, Bahar Muradova, the Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs, said at at the conference "My Voice, My Rights" held on the occasion of the June 1 - International Children's Day.
Muradova noted that Azerbaijan has made every effort to achieve peace with Armenia.
"Work is underway to develop a National Action Plan for the Protection of Children's Rights for 2026-2030. We also have the opportunity to revise the document on the concept of the family and the bill 'On the Rights of the Child'," she said.
