Azerbaijan registers 56,314 marriages, 17,191 divorces in 2021

Over the past year, the district (city) registration departments of the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry registered 56,314 marriages and 17,191 divorces.

Report learned from the State Statistics Committee, that the number of marriages increased by 60% from 2020 and amounted to 5.6 per 1,000 people, and the number of divorces, which increased by 13.3%, amounted to 1.7 per 1,000.
