Azerbaijan posts slight increase in population

Azerbaijan's population has increased by 2,935 people, or 0.03 percent, since the beginning of 2025, reaching a total of 10,227,824 as of February 1, 2025, according to the State Statistical Committee, Report informs.

The population is comprised of 54.4 percent urban residents and 45.6 percent rural residents. Additionally, 49.8 percent of the population is male, while 50.2 percent is female.
