Ramin Mammadov to attend international conference in Uzbekistan

The Chairman of the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Work with Religious Organizations, Ramin Mammadov, will participate in an international conference in Uzbekistan.

Report informs that the Chairman of the Religious Committee will travel to Samarkand at the invitation of the Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee of Uzbekistan, Sodik Toshboyev.

State officials, heads of religious organizations, representatives of scientific circles and the public, and religious figures from many countries around the world will attend the conference in Uzbekistan dedicated to the topic "Maturidism - a teaching of tolerance, moderation and enlightenment."

The conference will discuss the interpretation of universal values, tolerance and moderation in the Maturidi teaching, as well as the relevance of these ideas in the 21st century.

The international conference will take place on April 29-30.
