Zelenskyy visits Donetsk region

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited the Donetsk region, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.

Zelenskyy met with servicemen of the 22nd separate mechanized brigade, which is currently performing tasks as part of the Adam tactical group of the Soledar operational-tactical level.

The president was informed about the operational situation in the areas of responsibility of the brigades and the specifics of the use of different types of weapons.

"We discussed with the brigade commander the problems faced by the soldiers and proposals for their solution," Zelenskyy added.

He also spoke with the military of the 80th separate air assault brigade.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, they have been performing combat missions as part of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia" in the Izyum, Kupyansk, Bakhmut and Severodonetsk directions.
