With daily terror attacks on civilians, Russia demonstrates that it does not want negotiations, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his traditional evening address, Report informs.
He stressed that last on October 8 night alone at least 14 people were killed and more than 70 people were injured as a result of Russian strikes on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia. Since October 3, Russian strikes on the city have claimed at least 43 lives, he added.
“When someone wants negotiations, he doesn’t do that. When someone is a terrorist, he does namely that... Terrorists are neutralized, and terror is a crime that should be punished,” the head of state said.
He noted that terror at the state level is one of the most terrible crimes that threatens not only one person in the world, but the entire international community.
He compared Russia to Germany, which started the Second World War, and the world got scared and let it happen.
“Now the world is united. Everyone understands what Russia is actually waging this war in Ukraine against. This is a Russian war against all those values that make people human and life peaceful. Ukraine wins this war. We can liberate all our land and put a terrorist state in its place,” the president stressed.
