Zelenskyy reveals size of Ukrainian army

Up to 880,000 people serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with ARD TV, Report informs via Ukrainian media.
“We have 880,000. We have a million-strong army. And at the same time, we have 30 million people now, now specifically 30 million people, and maybe even a little more, are working. I can’t say the exact number,” he noted.
Last December, Zelenskyy said that 600,000 people served in the ground forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, ex-Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov stated that about 1 million people were involved in the security and defense sector, and the number of mobilized people was 700,000 people.
