Zelenskyy: Preparations underway for German president’s visit to Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that preparations are underway for the visit of his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.

Zelenskyy noted that on October 20, he had productive conversation with the president of Germany, during which he thanked for the delivery of the first IRIS-T air defense system.

“I am grateful to Germany for the first IRIS air defense system. We must deploy an air shield over Ukraine immediately! We appreciate Germany’s readiness to help overcome the consequences of Russia’s missile terror. We are also preparing the visit of the German president to Ukraine,” Zelenskyy wrote.
