On August 18, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The meeting took place in Lviv, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.
The head of state and the UN secretary-general discussed the "grain" agreement, the forced deportation of Ukrainians by the Russian Armed Forces and the release of Ukrainian soldiers and doctors from captivity.
Also, attention was paid to Russia's nuclear blackmail and its provocations at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
"This deliberate terror by the aggressor can have global catastrophic consequences. Therefore, the UN must ensure the security of this strategic facility, its demilitarization and complete liberation from Russian troops," Zelenskyy said.
