Zakharova: No political motivation in suspension of Turkey-Russia flights

“Relations between Russia and Turkey are developing in a number of areas. This is not only tourism, but also political, strategic and energy issues of cooperation. We see the dynamic development of these bilateral relations. Any attempts to find a political motivation in the suspension of flights are groundless,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told the Russian bureau of Report.

She noted that the suspension of flights is associated with a worsening epidemiological situation.

She also stressed the need to continue to comply with quarantine measures.
