Yerevan deploying border guards on Armenia-Azerbaijan border

Yerevan is deploying border troops on the section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border near the village of Kirants (Guney) in the Tavush region, reads a statement by the National Security Service of Armenia, Report informs.
The border troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia are conducting training aimed at securing the state border in the area of the village of Kirants, Tavush region.
“For reasons of security and operational necessity, access of unregistered citizens to the village of Kirants was temporarily limited,” the National Security Service of Armenia said in a statement.
