Ukrainian army secures control over dominant heights in Bakhmut

The Ukrainian army secured control over the dominant heights in Bakhmut, Deputy Minister of Defense, Hanna Maliar, said on Telegram.

According to her, the Ukrainian army is successfully advancing in Bakhmut.

Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, said today that the Russian troops were trapped in Bakhmut.

Fierce battles have been going on in the city for about 9 months.
