Ukraine President releases inmates with 'real combat ability'

The Ukrainians with real combat ability will be released from prisons and will compensate for their crimes in the hot spots, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video message, Report informs, citing UNIAN.

He said anyone who wants to join the struggle must do it.

"Therefore, this led to a decision that was not easy in moral terms but useful in terms of our protection. Amid the war conditions, the participants of the military actions, Ukrainians with real combat experience, will be released from prisons. And they will be able to compensate for their crimes in the hot spots of war. Moreover, the sanctions on the participants of the anti-terror operation will be lifted," Zelensky said.
