Türkiye joins NASA's Artemis Accords

Türkiye has joined NASA's Artemis Accords, Report informs, citing the Türkiye newspaper.

It was noted that the document was signed at NASA headquarters in Washington by Türkiye's Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır. With this step, Türkiye became the 71st country to join the program.

The Artemis Accords, launched in 2020 by NASA and the US Department of State, represent a set of principles for civil and peaceful activities in space. By signing, countries commit to adhering to specific rules of conduct and cooperation in the exploration of the Moon and other celestial bodies.
