Türkiye, Armenia resume direct trade

Türkiye and Armenia have officially resumed direct trade relations, Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the ministry, preparations for the start of direct trade were completed on May 11, 2026, as part of the normalization process between the two countries that has been ongoing since 2022.
The ministry also noted that efforts toward the opening of the border between Türkiye and Armenia are still underway.
