Türkiye announces arrival of 130 more fellow citizens and their relatives in Egypt

Türkiye intends to evacuate 130 of its citizens and their relatives who were in the Gaza Strip from Egypt on December 4, spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Oncu Keceli told journalists, Report informs referring to TASS.

“Last night, 130 of our citizens, together with their relatives, crossed from the Gaza Strip to Egypt. This group of people is expected to arrive in Türkiye today,” the diplomat said.

As the Turkish authorities previously informed, the process of removing citizens from Gaza, as well as Palestinians who require medical assistance, is taking place in coordination with Egypt and Israel. To date, both its citizens and residents of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, recognized only by Ankara, as well as patients from hospitals in the Palestinian enclave with their accompanying persons have been delivered to Türkiye. These are mainly cancer patients, children and adolescents.
