Turkish Interior Ministry: About 90 PKK terrorists neutralized in August

In August 2022, about 90 members of the PKK terrorist organization were neutralized, said Ismail Catakli, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkiye, Report informs.

Catakli noted that a total of 12,563 operations were conducted against the PKK in August. In the operations, 16 terrorists were killed, 60 were captured alive, and 14 surrendered.

Also, 1,371 people suspected of helping the terrorist organization were detained, of which 593 were PKK members.

During the August operations, 106 bunkers, shelters and caves were rendered useless.
