Turkish FM to visit US

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Washington on December 8, Report informs referring to the press service of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
“The Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Arab League, which was held on November 11, 2023, mandated the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar and Nigeria to take international action to stop the war in Gaza and achieve lasting peace.
Minister Fidan will visit Washington DC on December 8, 2023, to hold meetings within the framework of this joint diplomatic effort,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
