Turkish FM: Armenia must respond to Azerbaijan's peace proposal

"After the end of the Second Karabakh War and the liberation of Azerbaijani lands, we, as two countries, united our forces for peace and stability," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a press conference on the results of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Report informs.

The Turkish minister noted that Armenia must respond to Azerbaijan's peace proposal.

"Everyone needs to work for the stability of the region. We have cooperation mechanisms with Azerbaijan in various formats. If there is peace one day, why shouldn't Armenia join these formats? In my opinion, there is no need for a third party in the negotiations on a peace agreement. Azerbaijan and Armenia should sit at the table and talk. We support all steps taken for peace between the two sides," he added.
