Turkey starts purchasing F-16 fighters from US

Turkey has started purchasing F-16 fighters from the US, Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar said, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

“Technical work has begun on the acquisition of F-16s, we are following this process. Strengthening Turkey also means strengthening NATO,” the minister said.
