Turkey appoints special representative on normalization of ties with Armenia

Former Turkish Ambassador to the United States, Serdar Kilic, has been appointed the country's special representative on normalizing ties with Armenia, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said during his visit to the United Arab Emirates, Report informs, citing TRT.
Earlier, on December 13, Cavusoglu said in the Turkish Parliament that several steps would be taken to normalize ties with Armenia.
He also said that Turkey intends to open charter flights to Armenia, adding that Ankara will act jointly with Baku in this direction.
