Armenia's National Security Service has announced the threat of mass unrest amid opposition protests.
"The National Security Service announces that currently there is a real threat of organization of and staging mass riots in Armenia, due to which we urge the citizens not to yield to potential provocations, demonstrate high civil responsibility, abstain from inadmissible practices of inciting hatred, enmity, and violence," the statement reads.
Armenia has been overwhelmed by mass opposition protests since April 25, involving supporters of the 'Armenia' bloc of the country's second president Robert Kocharyan, the Republican Party of Armenia, and Artur Vanetsyan's parliamentary 'I Have Honor' Alliance.
