Sukhoi Superjet plane makes emergency landing at Moscow airport

A Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane has made an emergency landing at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport, Report informs referring to the Mash Telegram channel.

Flight SU6018 was heading to St. Petersburg, but during the flight the crew discovered a technical malfunction and decided to return to the capital, requesting permission to land at Sheremetyevo. A short time later, the aircraft landed at the Moscow airport.

According to preliminary information, the cause of the emergency landing was the failure of the aircraft’s left engine.
