Death toll from Iran earthquake rises to nearly 30

The number of victims of the 5.0 magnitude earthquake in the northeastern Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi has risen to 29, Report informs referring to the Mehr agency.
All the victims were injured while trying to escape the earthquake. At the moment, only one person is still in the hospital, the rest of the victims have already been discharged.
The earthquake affected residents of such cities in Khorasan Razavi province as Torbat-e Heydariyeh, Roshtkhar, Gonabad and Taybad.

Nineteen people have been injured in the earthquake in Iran, Report informs via the Mehr news agency.
The head of the crisis services in Khorasan Razavi province, Seyed Masoud Yavari, said that they were slightly injured.
"The epicenter of the earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 was in the city of Rashtkhar. The victims were in Taybad, Gonabad, Zava and Torbat-e Heydariyeh, but most of them were in Torbat-e Heydariyeh," he noted.

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale has struck Iran's Rasht district of Razavi Khorasan province, Report informs via ISNA.
The earthquake occurred at around 05:10 local time and was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers.
It is not yet known whether there were any casualties or damage as a result of the earthquake.
