Speaker: Talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia may be held at level of heads of state

Negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan may soon take place in the format of heads of state, the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, told journalists, Report informs via Armenian media.

"Discussions between Armenia and Azerbaijan are ongoing, and there is an agreement for them to continue. I do not rule out that the discussions may soon proceed in the format of heads of state, as well as in the format of foreign ministers," he noted.

According to him, "these processes are aimed at determining the timeline and location for signing a peace agreement."
