Six Georgian parliament members resign from ruling party

Georgian MPs Giorgi Khodjevanishvili, Beka Liluashvili, Ana Buchukuri, Alexandre Motserelia, Shalva Kereselidze, and Mikheil Daushvili have resigned from the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party, Report's Georgian Bureau informs.
According to him, from today, six parliamentarians will act as independent deputies and join the former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
According to reports, Gakharia plans to form a party.
Gakharia has served as the Prime Minister of Georgia from September 2019 to February 18 this year. The 46-year-old politician resigned from his post and left the ruling party. He said he intended to continue his political activities.
