Shoigu mulls situation in Karabakh with head of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Bagheri have held talks in Tehran, Report informs referring to the Russian media.

They discussed the situation in Syria, Afghanistan, as well as the situation in Karabakh.

Shoigu proposed to discuss a number of topical issues of bilateral military cooperation during his visit.

“There are still a lot of issues that need to be discussed today and tomorrow. These include issues of education, exchange of experience, exchange of delegations, joint naval exercises,” Shoigu said.
