Russian party chairman withdraws from presidential race

Chairman of the Russian All-People's Union Party, Sergey Baburin, withdrew from the presidential race, Report informs citing the local press.
According to the information, he withdrew his candidacy in favor of incumbent President Vladimir Putin in the upcoming presidential elections.
The elections in Russia are scheduled for March 17, 2024. The voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
