Russian Mi-8 helicopter makes unplanned landing in Yakutia

Mi-8 helicopter made an unplanned landing 26 km away from Lensk in Russia's Sakha Republic (Yakutia), no one was injured during the incident, the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said in a statement, Report informs, citing Russian media.
"According to preliminary information, today at 16:00, a Mi-8 helicopter made an unplanned landing 26 kilometers away from the city of Lensk. There are no casualties," the statement reads.

A Russian Mi-8 helicopter with three crew members and two technicians on board went missing in the Far East, Report informs via REN TV.
It is specified that the aircraft is serviced by the company Vzlet. The chopper departed from the village of Okhotsk in Khabarovsk Krai and was heading to Magadan.
The source clarified that an An-26 has been dispatched from Magadan to search for the missing helicopter, and another Mi-8 has been sent from Okhotsk.
