The Moldovan Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador after media reports about Moscow’s plans to open polling stations in the unrecognized Transnistria for the Russian presidential elections on March 17, Report informs, citing the Moldovan ministry.
“The Russian Ambassador in Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, the Russian diplomat will be informed of disagreement with the decision to open polling stations in the Transnistrian region of Moldova,” the Foreign Ministry said.
