Russian Ambassador: Kazakhstan reasonably turned to CSTO

"Kazakhstan reasonably turned to the CSTO. This is fully consistent with the charter of the organization," Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov said at a press conference, commenting on the situation in Kazakhstan, Report informs.
The ambassador noted that the assistance from the CSTO was provided very quickly and at the invitation of the head of state: "CSTO arrived at the right time."
Bocharnikov said that during the CSTO meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin also agreed with the head of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, that the situation in this country was an act of aggression.
According to the Russian envoy, in addition to the CSTO mission, all neighboring countries expressed support for Kazakhstan.
