Russia sees 40,402 new COVID cases

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has recorded 40,402 cases of coronavirus infection, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.

This is while 9 percent of patients had no clinical manifestations of the disease. Over the past day, 1,155 people have become victims of COVID, while 23,187 patients have recovered.

A total of 8,554,192 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic. Over the entire period, 239,693 people have died and 7,381,726 people have recovered.
