Quake in Türkiye’s Kahramanmaras

A magnitude 4 earthquake has been recorded in the Turkish province of Kahramanmaras, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Report informs referring to Turkish media.
Tremors were registered at 09:18 local time in the Elbistan region. The source of the earthquake lay at a depth of 14.37 kilometers.
Earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 occurred with an interval of nine hours in the province of Kahramanmaras on February 6, 2023. The tremors, followed by hundreds of aftershocks, were felt in 11 provinces of the country and neighboring countries, including Syria. According to the latest data, more than 55,000 people were killed in the earthquake in Türkiye.
