Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the organizers of the rebellion were pushing the country to defeat and capitulation, Report informs.
In his appeal to the nation, Putin said that these actions also cast a shadow on the military personnel who participated in the hostilities.
“Those who are trying to organize a rebellion are pushing the country towards anarchy and fratricide, towards defeat in the end and towards capitulation,” the president said.
Earlier, the president said that some Russians were forced to join the attempted armed rebellion by threats and deceit, and urged them to stop.
