Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit Turkey in the second half of February, Report informs referring to the A Haber TV channel.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the visit of the Russian president is possible after his visit to the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games. Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian leader, said that Putin would take advantage of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s invitation to visit Turkey as soon as the epidemiological situation and schedules allow.
“The visit, the date of which will be known after the Beijing Olympics, will take place in the second half of February,” the TV channel reports.
